State of the Art Online Learning Management System

IR Online uses the state of the art in distance- and blended-learning technology to meet the needs of our students. To provide a complete virtual study environment, we combine software from one of the biggest learning management systems with customized adaptations of open-source programs. These includes:

• Blackboard: the learning platform which provides online access to all course materials (see a demo here ).
• Grade Center: a platform for uploading assignments and tracking grades.
• Read Speaker: online content can be read aloud (or downloaded for later use) by digitalization software.
• Virtual Library: internet access to resource pools included up-to-date textbooks, databanks, and a vast range of scientific journals.
• Interactive Features: via chat, discussion forums, and email, students have a variety of methods to contact faculty and peers.
• Print Version: although the internet is a fact of modern life, it is not always practicable or available in every part of the world. For that reason, we provide printable versions of all required materials for offline studying.
