In-house Classes

Four in-house classes spread evenly over the two years of the study cycle offer you the opportunity to meet face to face with your fellow students and tutors. You will convene in seminars and lectures for presentations, discussions and simulation workshops.

The in-house classes take place in Berlin. Take your time to explore this fascinating city before and after the sessions! Each module will be introduced or concluded during on-site instruction. Thus, tutors and students have the opportunity to meet personally and discuss results and particular topics in more detail. This enriching intellectual exchange through face-to-face communication is an important supplement to online instruction.

Through discussions and round-table meetings students sharpen their communicative competencies and learn how to present clear-cut statements in an intercultural context. Furthermore, these personal meetings provide an excellent opportunity to create a network of young dedicated IR professionals and for them to get in touch with decision-makers from the various IR-related fields. Moreover, in-house classes actively train soft skills and the ability to work in an international team through innovative simulations of international negotiation processes.

For the periods of on-site instruction, students are required to cover travel and accommodation expenses independently. Students also have to prove that they are sufficiently covered by health insurance.
