Tagesspiegel reports about our second CGP Career Day.
News from Apr 18, 2011
The German newspaper Tagesspiegel looks back on our successful Career Day and directs public attention to the this event invented by our online Master programs, East European Studies (EES) Online and International Relations (IR) Online.
Interviewing Jasmina Opardija, who studies East European Studies Online, the Tagesspiegel explains the interesting concept of our first job-related alumni speed dating where our present students met and connected with our alumni, and gained insights about future career opportunities. In only 300 seconds students were enabled to interview professionals about their jobs and career planning advices.
Additionally, the Career Day offered five different workshops on career planning, international and European recruitment, time and self management, as well as effective presentations. Besides acquiring skills necessary for a job as well as for studying, our students from East European Studies Online, International Relations Online and the Graduate School could mingle with students from the other CGP programs.
Due to the great success, a third Career Day is going to take place next year in March.
