News from Feb 26, 2013

What a fresh start: Yesterday, our students from International Relations Online, East European Studies Online, and the graduate school have arrived safely in Berlin for their first in-house class session this year. At the reception in the Henry-Ford-Bau (Free University Berlin) everybody used the chance to relax and exchange news. But we also had the first workshops: CGP-Director Prof. Klaus Segbers provided the students with tools for research and analysis, Dimitri Mitin talked on "Global Energy", and Noah Toly on "Megacities". The next days are packed with seminars and talks – and we are looking forward to our Tea Ceremony at the Tadshikische Teestube in Berlin-Mitte and a discussion with Hans-Friedrich von Ploetz, Ambassador Emeritus and current member of the CGP advisory board.
