What a celebration: a delicious buffet, great music and dance performances, and lots of emotions. The graduation of the East European Studies (EES) Online 9th run and International Relations (IR) Online 6th run at the Tomasa ballroom in Berlin-Zehlendorf was definitely a highlight of last weeks’ in-house class. “I decided to study International Relations in an effort to further the pursuit of the two things I find most compelling in life. Money and power. I cannot tell how disappointed I was at first”, International Relations Online class speaker Daniel Sankarsingh admitted during his emotional and yet funny speech in which he reflected upon “two challenging but wonderful years.” Daniel: “Along the way I got to know my classmates - an amazing group of people who seemed motivated by a desire to gain a deeper understanding of global politics, to make an impact, to make the world a better place. These people have enlightened and inspired me over the last 2 years, and its very sad for me think that we won’t be spending so much time together anymore.”
