Ulrich Brückner

Ulrich Brückner studied Political Science, German Literature, and History at Würzburg University and the FU Berlin. He received his PhD in 1996. Ulrich Brückner has organized several seminars for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in the field of European integration, labor market policy, as well as economic policy.

From 1994-2002, he held a Jean Monnet Chair for European Integration in the Department for Political Science at FU Berlin, since 2003, he holds a Jean Monnet Chair at Stanford University. Ulrich Brückner is Member of TEAM Europe and instructor for IES at Humboldt University Berlin, Duke University, the european school of governance (eusg), FU Berlin International Summer University, as well as for post-graduate programs on European Studies and Training for International Diplomats at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. Ulrich Brückner is a visiting professor at the University of Ljublijana and a board-member fo the institute for cultural diplomacy.

His areas of interest are current developments of EU policy-making.
