Theoretical Foundations

The first part of the curriculum provides you with essential instruments for studying global politics. It introduces you to social science methodologies and explains how you conduct your own research in an academically sound way. In addition, by introducing you to major social science theories, it provides you with explanatory factors to analyze empirical phenomena. The following modules are a mandatory part of the curriculum.
