IR Online Project Director
Prof. Dr. Klaus Segbers holds the Chair of Political Science at the Institute for East European Studies and is professor for International Relations at the Otto-Suhr-Institute for Political Science (OSI) at FU Berlin. His academic expertise extends to the areas of Foreign Policy Analysis and International Relations, in particular International Political Economy and issues of Globalization. Furthermore, he focuses on designing innovative concepts of knowledge-building and transfer, including the development of e-education and blended learning programs in international contexts. Program Coordinator
Kristina Klinkforth studied Political Science and International Relations in Hamburg, Berlin, and Galway, Ireland. Her professional experiences include project management in various national and international contexts, as well as in e-learning environments. During her studies, she has worked in the Federal Foreign Office as well as in the United Nations Headquarters, New York.
Currently, she is writing her PhD Thesis on international negotiation and the impact of transnational actors in this context.

Student Advisor
Yamina Ehrt studied German Studies, Cultural Studies and Political Science at the University of Leipzig and the Universiteit van Amsterdam and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Bristol. After graduating, she worked as a DAAD language assistant at the University of Namibia, program assistant for a Basic Education Program of GTZ in Namibia and a DAAD lecturer in Bristol, UK. Until November 2009, Ms Ehrt also coordinated the mentoring and coaching program of the Heinrich-Böll-Foundation’s Scholarship Department.

IT Manager
Stefan Hohenberger studied Political Science. His diploma thesis dealt with the impact of information technology on labor markets and employment structures in the European Union. He has worked as IT specialist on several scientific projects and is now in charge of the technical implementation and design of the International Relations Online program.

Kirstin Frohnapfel (student assistant), is studying an M.A. in East European Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. She graduated with a Diploma in Political Sciences from Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a.M. in fall 2007.
Elisabeth Schultze (student assistant), studied Cultural Sciences (B.A.) and Eastern European Studies (M.A.) at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt-Oder, University of Maastricht and Free University Berlin. After her graduation in 2009, she spent a semester in Poland and is now back in Berlin for her PhD at the Graduate School of Global Politics. Her dissertation thesis is about Foreign Relations of the European Union with China.
